Three Tips for a Card That Turns Out Right

Print at actual sizeTurn off “fit to page” so the fold lines land where the designer put them.
Score before foldingRun a butter knife or bone folder along the fold line against a ruler — cardstock then folds flat instead of cracking.
Print a sparePrinting two copies costs nothing and saves the day when the first one gets a coffee ring.

Are these birthday cards free?

Yes. The Creative Fabrica free trial includes 10 free downloads, so you can download any card on this page for free — up to 10 of them. Start the trial, then use the button on each card.

Do I need a Cricut?

Only for cards marked SVG cut file. They open in Cricut Design Space and in Silhouette Studio (the free Silhouette edition opens DXF rather than SVG — check the file list on the product page). Cards marked Printable or Digital file need only a printer.

What paper should I use?

65–80 lb (about 175–216 gsm) cardstock works for most card bases. For layered papercut designs, use a lighter cardstock for the fine top layers so the blade cuts cleanly.

What size envelope fits?

A card folded to A2 size (4.25 × 5.5 in) fits an A2 envelope; a 5 × 7 in card fits an A7 envelope. Each product page lists the finished size of the card.

Can I sell cards I make with these files?

Licensing is set per product on Creative Fabrica. Check the license section on the product page before selling finished cards.
